Via ArtsJournal, I found this neat column written by a librettist currently working on a new opera. I found his remarks about the creative process fascinating – like hearing the DVD commentary before the movie’s even made:

I’m excited about this upcoming event–even though I’m not really a raver, per se, I love electronic music especially when it’s performed live. Apple is using it to help promote its Quicktime platform, which is hands-down the most useful online video tool with the possible exception of Youtube.
