We did them in conjunction with my mystery literature class, and they were always a huge hit with students :-) We didn't do elaborate sets or costumes, or any preparation...just showed up at my house, ate pizza, and enacted the mystery on the spot. Tons of fun, but is *was* really hard to stay in character :-) I used to host murder mystery dinners back when I was a college English professor!
