Fame or Famine

OK, they get points just for having a Tom Waits song at the beginning. Looks like more Wade Robson to me, but then again, I’m just used to zombies. Labelle, my viewing companion, suggested that this is the "Harry Potter" tribute, with these as the Mer People. I don’t remember them too well.

Cat Deeley: "Holy crap, what did she slaughter to make that outfit?" A more graceful question than my "OMG, she’s got feather boobs!" Jan Brady wearing a dead peacock chicken is the verdict. My, we’re snarky tonight.

Wow. I’m impressed that they would put this on mainstream tv….though having just a bit with no real context is kind of…well, I suppose I should just not complain.( Sorry, folks, this review is coming after a 15 hour day after a 10.5 hour drive yesterday. It’s going to be bleak, pleasant company with me notwithstanding.)

Sabra: She’s channeling Josephine Baker! Her flirty style and the beautiful high extension just really made it work. This is gonna be the winner.

Lauren: See, she just is a little more thrashy, and when she got to the center of the stage she just didn’t seem to know what to do. I like Lauren the best, but in terms of technique, I’m just not sure that she’s going to make it just based on technique.

Lacey: See, she just moves as fast but with more control. And a bit – just a bit- more sensuality than Lauren. She and Sabra will be in the finals.

Pasha: You know, today at lunch the old 3 Musketeers with Gene Kelly was on, and I got to watch that same athleticism that Pasha showed. But at this point, we’re going to watch the finale with everyone nude.

Not that that would be a bad thing.

Neil: I don’t think he was quite as dancerly tonight as he was last week – and since last week is what counted, I think that he’s going to be safe tonight. But if this were the night it was based on, Pasha and Danny would be in the finals.

Danny: What is there to say about Danny? He’s the best dancer. It’s going to come down to him against Sabra – and Sabra will be the winner, because she’s the cutest. So I have spoken. So let it be done.

Now, let’s see what ends up the results…
