I was, in fact, raised in a Mormon household, and so the language I used is reflective of a familiarity with the King James version of the bible. The tone came out of actually being recently reconciled with a Priest friend of mine (Catholic), and so the tone just kind of crept in. It was meant to be biblical, actually, rather than specifically Mormon, and I'm kind of embarrassed that you caught out my cultural conditioning. It was meant to be amusing, rather than tacky, and certainly not offensive. Again, I apologize if it offended you - I respect the Mormons, and every other faith, as an individual choice and would never mean to ridicule your beliefs. Kristi - Thanks!
