Ranting Details on “So You Think You Can Dance”
One of the things I love most about the web is that it gives me a look into the minds of not just real people, but real people doing things I wish I were doing. Long ago, I had hopes of being a gypsy; while those dreams are gone, I do get to live the life vicariously through people like M, the author of “Ranting Details” blog.
It’s especially fun when he writes about his own reaction to pop culture – such as “So You Think You Can Dance“. He has seen his friends in it, and confesses to being as addicted to it as everyone else…but at the same time, he’s wonderfully snarky about the judge Mary Murphy as opposed to Dancing With the Stars Paula Abdul:
“I propose a celebrity death match between the two although the probability of either being able to do anything but clap with lazy eyes, spew rambling endearment or scream like there’s a porcupine under their butt is rather low.”
How can you not love a critique like that?
