Yes, yes, the review’s coming…
Karlcat, among others, has been waiting for my review of Delerium. Well, I’m afraid today has been a bit too hectic to really get to it, but I can tell you two things:
One: it was as fantastic as I expected it to be, and then some.
Two: It really pays to do some research beforehand. I’ve heard of other people who were disappointed because it wasn’t Cirque, it was more an experiential arena-rock concert, with a couple of muscular acrobats thrown in here and there and a pekingese reincarnated as a stiltwalking skinhead.
Of course, if you’d looked at the website, you’d see that that’s exactly what it’s billed as. So it was beautiful, to me. I’ll wait for Corteo, or for a trip to Vegas, to see the full show again…
