Blog of the week – Carpe Diem the Life of an Actress
This week we feature another acting Blog, but this time the blogger is a woman. Visit Carpe Diem – the Life of an Actress. The blogger’s name is Audry Walker.
One thing I have learned from all of this, is confidence. I have more of it since starting my acting career. It’s great. I realize things more. Instead of focusing on how many auditions I didn’t get the part for, I focus on the fact that every casting director/director that I have auditioned for has gone out of their way to make positive comments on my performance. One even emailed me directly and encouraged me to audition for him again. I must be doing something right.
This blog has less experience and factual information than last week’s featured blog, but I enjoyed the more personal touch of what a day-to-day existance is like as a struggling actor. There’s less ego, more realism, and the site is a snap to navigate. Of course, that could be a funciton of how new it is.
